I’m the Travel & Outdoors Editor at the San Francisco Chronicle. I joined the paper in 2017 to cover outdoor recreation and adventure in California’s wild natural landscapes. I often write about Lake Tahoe’s skiing industry and culture; extreme sports and visitor drama in Yosemite; thrilling search-and-rescue missions in the High Sierra; and under-the-radar destinations for traveling, hiking and camping across the state.
Previously, I worked as a Senior Editor at Outside Magazine in New Mexico.
